November 25 Southernmost Idol 3 pm - 5 pm Poolside at Shores Bar Because the last Thursday in November falls on Thanksgiving we are moving the November American Idol Competition to Wednesday November 25th.
The last Thursday of every month Southernmost Idol will take place at the Shores Bar, oceanside and poolside at Southernmost on the Beach. Contest is limited to Southernmost Hotel Collection guests only. Contestants awarded dinner at Southernmost Beach Cafe' , and Bar Tabs. The winner of this competition has a chance to come back and compete at the "Finalists Competition" where the winner of the "Finalists Competition" will take home 3 night stay at Southernmost on the Beach plus tickets on Southwest Airlines! December 12 Key West Lighted Boat Parade
Decorated and lighted boats cruise through Key West Harbor and the waters of the Historic Seaport. The Gerald Adams Elementary School Steel Your Heart Band kicks off the festivities at 6:00 pm with a set of holiday tunes and standards on stage at Schooner Wharf, followed by the high energy Robert Douglas Band with Raven Cooper. December 30 Key West Pops Orchestra presents: Home for the Holidays 7:30 pm at St. Paul's Episcopal Church
Alumni vocal and instrumental soloists are set to return to the Pops for this 7:30 p.m. performance at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 401 Duval Street; including Clinton Curtis, Daniel Curtis, Ralph Garcia, Stephanie Leone, Lina Robles, Carmen Rodriguez and Joe Lowe. First Course Tropical hearts of palm salad or Creamy Shrimp Bisque
Second Course Grilled Salmon Beautiful filet of salmon, glazed with a citrius soy, then grilled. Topped with an Asian slaw. Alongside Jasmine rice and chef's selection of vegetables.
Surf & Turf A 4 oz filet of choice beef grilled to perfection and served alongside a whole stuffed Florida Lobster. Next to roasted fingerling potatoes and chef's vegetables.
Veal Picatta Scallopine of veal, pan sauteed, then de-glazed in a white wine. A classic preparation. Next to an herbed rice pilaf and chefs vegetables.
